It's happening this Friday night! Opening from 6:30 - 9pm!
Hope to see you there!
Thank you to 65 friends, artists, and family that contributed 90 cards reflecting their days for my January 2023 installation! I LOVE all of you cards and they mean so much to me! I will send installation images after the show opens in the next update.
Daily art becomes an impressive show based on three years in the life of the artist
"Visual Days" A solo installation by Heidi Dauphin Artist's Opening Reception Friday, February 17 6:30-9pm
Installation of "Visual Days" continues as Heidi Dauphin and WAG staff hang nearly 1,200 pieces of art in the gallery. Each day of the years 2000, 2010, and 2020 are represented by three pieces of art: a mixed media piece, found objects, and a pencil drawing. Each is unique, interesting, and visually intriguing. The art pieces wind around the walls of the gallery filling the space with rows and columns of art.
Meet the artist who created all of these works at the show's opening reception on Friday February 17, 6:30-9pm. Enjoy some refreshments, some music, and good conversation. Come join us!

In January, Mark Brodie interviewed me for "The Show", on KJZZ, our local NPR station in Phoenix. The interview was about the paper quilt that was in the Art Quilts XXVII: Revitalized exhibition at Vision Gallery in Chandler, AZ. Click below to listen:
10x10x10=1000, is in the 22nd Annual ArtLink Juried Exhibition, at the FoundRe Hotel through February 2023. I was very excited to be accepted into this exhibition and then to receive an Honorable Mention for this piece in this show!
Many people are enjoying the Mathematical Art Puzzle within this piece. I have written about this piece before, but to refresh your memory here is the statement about it:
This piece is made with 1000 tiny items. These items are arranged on 100 colorful blocks. Each block contains 10 items. There are 100 different items. Each item appears 10 times on 10 different blocks. No block contains the same 10 items. Each block is a unique arrangement. The center of each block contains two items stacked on top of each other. All 100 different items appear once in the center, top location of each block. There are 10 different locations that each item can appear on each block. The same 10 items never appear in the same location on the blocks, except for 10 anomalies….. Can you find them?
I loaded up my 5 triangles and dropped them of at E2 Innovations today to be assembled for installation. They weigh 62 pounds each. They gained some weight while in my care. Clay is heavy!! Hopefully installation will be in March at Alamar in Avondale. It's bittersweet. So glad to be done, but also sad to see them go. I've become attached to these guys!
Thanks for your continued support!
