Art News from Heidi Dauphin

Hello Friends!

There is less than one week left to see Visual Days!
Closing Reception: Friday, March 24, from 6:30 - 9pm!

Thank you to all of those who were at the opening or have seen the show!
Also, thank you to all of those who have sent wishes from afar!
All of your support means so much to me.

If you haven't had a chance to see the show and are in the Phoenix area please come this week at the times listed below, or contact me and I can meet you there and have the gallery opened for us.
This is about a 20 minute interview and tour of the show with myself and Charlotte Strawn, the Gallery Manager at Walter Art Gallery

For those of you not able to get to Phoenix to see the show, hopefully the video and these few shots will be a small snapshot for you to view and get a sense of the exhibition.

Thank you to 65 friends, artists, and family that contributed 90 cards reflecting their days for my January 2023 installation!
I LOVE all of your cards and they mean so much to me!
Here is an installation shot of the Jan 2023 wall.
Again, thank you for sharing YOUR day with me!

I have made a price list if you want any combination of days printed together on metal. Contact me if you are interested. You can see individual days close up at either of the two links below:

"Visual Days"
A solo installation by Heidi Dauphin
Artist's Closing Reception Reception
Friday, March 24, 6:30-9pm

Installation of "Visual Days" took 6 days as Heidi Dauphin and WAG staff hung nearly 1,200 pieces of art in the gallery. Each day of the years 2000, 2010, and 2020 are represented by three pieces of art: a mixed media piece, found objects, and a pencil drawing. Each is unique, interesting, and visually intriguing. The art pieces wind around the walls of the gallery filling the space with rows and columns of art.

Meet the artist who created all of these works at the show's closing reception on Friday March 24, 6:30-9pm. Enjoy some refreshments, some music, and good conversation. Come join us!

The Walter Art Gallery is part of the non-profit arts education organization, The Walter Hive.  All sales support TWH's mission to provide educational programming that fosters creative expression and well-being through the arts. Our exhibition space furthers the mission of TWH by providing a welcoming space for the public to experience local art and artists.

Parking at the gallery is limited. We have permission for our visitors to park at Allcare on the southeast corner of 64th Street and Thomas.  Please see the map below:

I am waiting for installation of Turning Landscapes 1939, 1979, 2019. I have been told it might happen this week. E2 Innovations assembled the triangles at the end of February and they SPIN!!!
Thanks for your continued support!
